Garden Grit & Glory: A Love Letter to Our Volunteers 🧤💚

Updated: Jun 20

Let’s be real—this garden doesn’t weed itself. Those tree branches didn't magically clear themselves. And that community plot? Yeah… someone had to break out some muscle to beautify that.

So here’s to the unsung heroes of Holmes Run Community Garden: the wheelbarrow wranglers, the hose tamers, the mulch movers, and the brave souls who face the morning spider webs without flinching.

You show up with your gloves on, your sleeves rolled, and your "I-just-came-to-water-my-tomatoes-but-got-distracted-by-trashcans-not-placed-at-the-curb" energy. And we love you for it.

Thanks for pulling weeds, hauling trash, sharing tools, and generally being amazing humans. You’re not just growing veggies—you’re growing community. And that’s something worth celebrating.

So next time you volunteer, give yourself a high five. Or better yet, stop by for a real one—we owe you big time. 🌻

Want to join the fun? Keep an eye on our bulletin board, email updates, and social media for the next volunteer day. Come for the dirt, stay for the vibes.
