July 13, 2023 Advisory Committee Meeting

1. Announcements

2. Discussion

   1. We NEED a community cleanup day, to control the weeds/grass near the kiosk and common plot. City timeline for cutting grass? Saturday at 0830, meet to clean up some of the common areas. If anyone has cardboard or heavy weed block, please bring. Maureen will check with the city about possible cutting a larger area of grass near kiosk.

   2. How to earn and report volunteer hours

      1. Weeding community areas, plan community days (picnics, cleanup days, seed swap, etc.)

      2. Attend monitoring sessions

      3. Attend advisory meetings, create agenda, take meeting minutes

      4. Help with community website/facebook page https://holmesrungarden24.wixsite.com/home

   3. Yard waste bins, please pull them to the road when half full. Looking for a volunteer to check the trash and yard waste bins weekly to pull to the road for pickup.
